摘要 Windmill with a vertical axis of rotation and a mechanism for positioning wings ideally with regard to wind, with the intention to convert energy of wind into work. With such windmills the problem arises when the wings move against the wind, and transversally to the wind. If the wings are always in the same position during the whole circle of rotation, they exert high resistance when these move against the wind and do not have such a good effect as when they move transversally to the wind. When positioning wings into the position so that they are positioned with their largest surface when moving with the wind, and with the smallest when moving against the wind, and when they move transversally to the wind, they should be slanted so as to convert the wind movement into circular movement of a windmill rotor, and increase the efficiency of the windmill. This is possible to achieve by putting a crankshaft (8) to a wing axis (4) onto which continues a lever (5), the other end of which moves along a certain matrix (9).
