A desk type learning device and a learning method using the same are provided to maximize the achievement of a learner by monitoring and dealing with the learning state of the user. A user(U) takes a seat for learning. A photographing unit photographs the body of a user including a face and generates the image information of the user. A terminal(70) receives the image information of the user from the photographing unit and transmits the image information to a terminal(500) or server(200) of a manager or parents. A thermometer is installed in the desk and checks the temperature. The terminal transmits the temperature information of the user to the terminal or server of the manager or parents.
