The invention relates to a fireproof profile component (1), for the production of windows, doors, wall elements, facades and similar. Said component comprises two essentially U-shaped profile pieces, in particular made from extruded aluminium with an inner support shell (3) and an outer support shell (4) and which are connected to a composite profile (35), surrounding a single hollow chamber (H) at the free branch ends (300, 301, or 400, 401) thereof on the branch (5) of the U-shaped profile by means of thermally-separating insulating webs (6). The hollow chamber (H) is at least partly filled with a fireproof insulating mass (7). The particular advantage of said single-chamber composite profile with regard to fireproofing, is based on the fact that a large amount of fireproof insulating mass can be charged in the composite profile with the hollow chamber (H), thus forming a stable insulating block, in which the corner angles and connecting means can also be embedded. In conventional multi-chamber composite profiles this is not possible within the confines of the invention. Various production variants of the profile component (1) are disclosed, comprising amongst others, the user of a mortar-like hardening fireproof insulating mass (7), the use of pre-prepared insulating mass pieces and the recessing of unfilled partial chambers (37) in the hollow chamber (H). |
