The present invention relates to a wellbore fluid and a solid agent coated with a dispersant for use in wellbore fluids and a method of formulating a wellbore fluid comprising a base fluid; and adding a sized weighting agent coated with a dispersant made by the method of dry blending a weighting agent and a dispersant,the sized weighting agent has a particle distribution given by dranging from 1 to 25 mkm and dranging from 0.5 to 10 mkm. A method of formulating a wellbore fluid that includes providing a base fluid; and adding a sized weighting agent coated with a dispersant made by the method of dry blending a weighting agent and a dispersant. The invention is aimed at producing wellbore fluids having high density, low viscosity and minimum agent settlement. |
