摘要 A well foundation method using steel caissons for pier reinforcement is provided to carry out the construction by pouring concrete, removing the form, and then pulling out the steel caisson, thereby preventing delamination of concrete after the reinforcement. A well foundation method using steel caissons for pier reinforcement is as follows. A barge(14) equipped with a cram shell is floated around a bridge post(10) and excavates the ground(16) using the cram shell to form a foundation(18). Gunny bags(20) are placed to certain height and width on the foundation. H beams are fixed to the foundation using anchor bolts. Sand gunny bags are placed around the H beams and underwater concrete is applied. Steel caissons(26) are fixed by bolts on the top of the H beams, and the water in the steel caissons is evacuated using a pump. A plurality of holes of same diameter and depth are punched in the pier. Anchors are installed in the holes and reinforcing bars are placed on the anchors. A form is set up between the pier and the steel caissons, and concrete(38) is applied in the form. The form is removed and the steel caissons are pulled out.
