<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain designability of characters and graphics data by avoiding disordering of image quality of the characters and graphics data when an OSD layer is matched with an image size having an irrelative numeral. <P>SOLUTION: When the OSD layer is expanded, an area where characters and graphics data are placed is enlarged to an integral multiple, and only a center area where neither characters nor graphics are normally displayed is enlarged to a real-number multiple to confirm an image, so that an image size of the OSD layer is increased to the image size.
