The element (2) has an iris-detection unit (3) fixed to a rear side of the element, where the detection unit detects an iris of a driver through the element. The detection unit is arranged in a center of the element. A power supply is provided to supply power to the detection unit. An adhesive joint is formed between the detection unit, another iris-detection unit and the element, in order to fix the detection units to the element. The detection unit (3) is provided for controlling prevention of semi-sleep of the driver. An independent claim is also included for an inner rear mirror of a vehicle.
