PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of mitigating player's feeling of unfairness. SOLUTION: A Pachinko game machine includes: big winning drawing arrangement; loss compensation control arrangement; selection arrangement for selecting whether or not to execute the operation control of loss compensation; a game board; detection arrangement for detecting game balls which pass through a first start port 25 and a second start port 44 provided in the transparent area of the game board; detection determination arrangement for determining whether or not the detection arrangement have detected the game ball; a liquid crystal display device 32 provided behind the transparent area of the game board, and for displaying prescribed contents; and display control arrangement for executing the display control of loss compensation display relating to a compensating function. The plurality of detection arrangement are provided in the transparent area respectively corresponding to the first start port 25 and the second start port 44. The detection determination arrangement determines which one of the plurality of detection arrangement has detected the game ball, and the liquid crystal display device 32 executes the display control of a character image 90 on the basis of the determined result of the detection determination arrangement.
