PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin HDD case, which is more excellent in impact resistance, low vibratility, silence, airtightness, drip-proofness, and heat-radiating characteristics. SOLUTION: The HDD case 10c includes a case body 1 and a lid 2 attached to the opening peripheral edge of an upper part and houses an HDD 20, the lid and the internal face of the case body are covered with a heat conduction improving adhesive synthetic resin mat 4a, a damping material 6, a sound absorbing material 7, and a sound insulation material 8 so as to surround the periphery of the HDD. The HDD is supported to the case body in a non-contact state by a pair of or two pairs of dumper mechanism 30b provided with a damper member 32s which are attached to the lower face of a strip-like HDD supporting member 31 and the horizontal part 31a of HDD both side faces of the HDD supporting member. Heat radiation fins are formed at external faces of the lid and the case body, and further, the lid and the case body are constituted of a heat conduction dumping plate.
