PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk apparatus which reduces a biasing force of a spring which energizes a lever to move back to a rotation starting point so as to prevent a disk abutting portion provided at a tip of the lever from continuing to apply a large load to a disk, even when the rotation angle of the lever is large. SOLUTION: The optical disk apparatus includes a rotation table 31a which holds the disk in a manner which allows the disk to freely rotate, the lever 301 which is rotated around a predetermined pivot, and abuts a periphery of the disk and guides the disk onto the rotation table 31a, a motor 60 which drives the lever 301, a spring 502 which applies a force which moves the lever 301 back to a predetermined standby position, and a cam 501 which is provided between the lever 301 and the spring 502, and transfers the biasing force of the spring 502 to the lever 301. The cam 501 attenuates the biasing force of the spring 502 which is transferred to the lever 301 as the rotation angle of the lever 301 goes further away from the standby position.
