<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make images photographed by a digital camera easy to watch when reproducing the images as so-called flip-book motion pictures. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing method includes: an edge extraction step 111 of extracting edges from original images, thereby obtaining edge images; a line image step 112 of extracting straight lines from the edge images, thereby obtaining line images; a vanishing point determination step 113 of assuming extensions of the straight lines constituting the line images and setting vanishing points on the basis of the extensions; and a trimming step 114 of trimming a predetermined range of the original images so that the vanishing points are located at specific positions of a target image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
