<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component supplying device capable of concurrently performing pick-up, vertical reversing, and horizontal movement of electronic components without changing the transferring height of transferring components to a mounting device even when components are vertically reversed. <P>SOLUTION: A component supplying device includes a pickup head 5 for picking up an electronic component 2 from a component preparing portion with its face up and transferring it horizontally, a reversing means 10 for causing a retaining portion 13 of a rotary member 11 rotating vertically around a horizontal axis to receive the electronic component horizontally transferred by the pickup head and rotating the rotary member by a half rotation around the axis to reverse the electronic component, and a horizontal transferring means 21 for causing a receiving portion 22 to receive the reversed and down-faced electronic component or the up-faced electronic component directly transferred by the pickup head and transferring the component to a mounting device, wherein the component receiving height of the retaining portion before reversion is approximately equal to the component receiving height of the horizontal transferring means to transfer the reversed electronic component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
