The device improves a manual adjustment method to an automatic one in the VCR production line. An adjustment step that head switching signal's switching point should be adjusted as early one to the vertical sync. signal is necessary to get a stable picture. The microcomputer controlled device input 30 Hz head switching signal (HS) and vertical sync. signal (VS) and generates a control data to set a mono multivibrator (12) delay time constant. The control data is converted into an analog control voltage through a digital/analog converter (14), and a time constant is set. As a result, the changed switching point is automatically adjusted with the VS with the specified time interval.
