PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience of a user during performing transmission by a portable terminal. SOLUTION: This communication system includes a first portable terminal, a second portable terminal and a connection control device for performing connection control of the portable terminals, wherein the first portable terminal includes a transmission requesting means for performing short range radio connection to the other portable terminal to request the other portable terminal to perform transmission to another communication terminal, the second portable terminal includes a relaying means for performing short range radio connection to the second portable terminal to perform relay connection of the first portable terminal and the connection control device, and the connection control device includes a relay transmitting means for performing transmission to the other communication terminal to be the transmission destination with the first portable terminal as a transmission source in response to the transmission request from the first portable terminal connected by relaying the second portable terminal.
