PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplifier circuit which achieves stable convergence to linear characteristics of an amplifier. SOLUTION: The amplifier circuit 12a includes: the amplifier 22; a distortion compensation part 30 which adds a predistortion characteristic A<SP>-1</SP>of the amplifier 22 to an input signal u(t) of the amplifier 22 to perform distortion compensation; and a model estimating part 32 which estimates the predistortion characteristic A<SP>-1</SP>of the amplifier 22 for use in the distortion compensation part 30, on the basis of a prescribed estimation model Ak. The model estimating part 32 uses U' and Y' being a part of input/output data U<SP>tk</SP>and Y<SP>tk</SP>used in calculation of the past estimation model Ak, for calculation of a current estimation model Ak+1.
