PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly inform a viewer of the content(subject) of an image, and to reproduce an easy-to-view slideshow image. SOLUTION: This image reproduction device for successively reproducing a series of plurality of images includes:calculating attractiveness of each image and each object (step S13) based on each image and physical characteristics of the object included in each image, and assigning the display time of each image in accordance with the calculated attractiveness of each image, and adding video effects or voice effects to each image (step S14) in accordance with the calculated attractiveness of the image and that of the object.
