PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine degradation of the pressure regulator 2 of each gas supply facility 10, and to perform its maintenance at an appropriate time. SOLUTION: Gas meters 3 and a mobile terminal 5 are connected to a centralized monitor device 6 through a network 7. The flow rate and use time of gas are integrated by each gas meter 3, and are periodically transmitted as use amount flow-rate values to the mobile terminal 5 and a centralized monitor device 6. The mobile terminal 5 and the centralized monitor device 6 accumulate the used flow-rate value, if an accumulated value reaches a use amount flow-rate upper value in a memory unit such as an EEPROM, user information on the user of the pressure regulator 2 and the gas meter 3 is displayed on the display unit. Moreover in the gas meter 3, a characteristic curve of the relation between the flow rate and the adjustment pressure of the pressure regulator 2 is stored beforehand. The pressure and an instantaneous flow rate of the gas are detected. An adjustment pressure upper limit value and an adjustment pressure lower limit value corresponding to the instantaneous flow rate are obtained from the characteristic curve. From the detected pressure, adjustment pressure upper limit value, and adjustment pressure lower limit value, degradation of the pressure regulator 2 are determined. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
