<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide heat-sensitive recording material which colors in high density, and which is excellent in the preservation property of an image part, particularly, which is excellent in plasticizer resistance, specially, which is also excellent in heat resistance. <P>SOLUTION: In the heat-sensitive recording material made by providing a heat-sensitive coloring layer containing a coloring substance made of colorless or pale color leuco dyestuff and a developer on the support, as the developer, (A) 4,4'-dihydroxydiphenyl-sulfone and a developer on the support, as the developer, (A) 4,4'-dihydroxydiphenylsulfone and/or 2,4'-dihydroxydiphenylsulfone, and (B) a diphenylsulfone crosslinking type compound expressed by the general formula (1) are mixed at the ratio of 85:15 to 35:65 of mass ratio, and are used.
