With respect to a mold forming requiring nanolevel precision as in optical parts, in the conventional methods such as those involving configurational improvement and mold release agent spray application, the precision is likely to be deteriorated by variation of a thickness of mold release agent film. Further, sticking of a mold release agent to molded article is occasionally unfavorable. However, a metal mold utilizing no mold release agent is not yet brought into practical use. There is disclosed a metal mold provided on its surface with, as a mold release film, a water repellent, oil repellent fluorocarbon based chemical adsorption film with nanolevel uniform thickness and with its surface energy controlled. Accordingly, even when a nanometer-level ultrafine configuration is had, high-precision molding excelling in molded matter flow and entry properties can be realized. Further, application of a mold release agent becomes unnecessary to thereby enable avoiding any sticking of mold release agent to molded article.
|
