<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cleaning a photoreceptor for preventing an image quality defect caused by variation in wear of the photoreceptor and the surface deterioration thereof. <P>SOLUTION: Such a grinding process is performed that the surface of the photoreceptor is ground with developer 4 by rotating the photoreceptor 101 and developing rolls 1 and 2 so that the developer 4 is conveyed to the photoreceptor side by the developing rolls 1 and 2 in a state where developing bias having a reverse polarity to developing bias during printing is applied to the developing rolls 1 and 2 after finishing the printing job of the image forming apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
