PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device that automatically outputs target information about a speed, a distance or an angle resolution to be needed so as to perform an operation of an adequate mode corresponding to a tracking condition of a target in order to stably perform tracking or identifying of the target. SOLUTION: A data setting section 2A computes an FFT number satisfying a speed resolution on the basis of an operation mode, a mode parameter and the speed resolution obtained from a sensor control section 1A, and outputs a signal processing parameter including the FFT number to a target detecting section 6. The target detecting section 6 performs signal processing on the basis of the signal processing parameter including the FFT number received from the data setting section 2A so as to detect a target.
