PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of regenerating a deodorizing filter without increasing ventilation resistance while surely preventing an odorous component removed from the deodorizing filter from being released indoors again. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner 1 comprising a ventilating means 23 provided with the deodorizing filter 12 capable of being regenerated by heating, and a heating means 14 in an air flow channel 9, and discharging the odorous component removed from the deodorizing filter 12 outdoors, the deodorizing filter 12 is disposed on a filter installation frame 11 disposed in the air flow channel 9, a shutter mechanism constituted by relatively movably superposing a cover member 19 provided with first slit holes 19A arranged at equal pitches, and a shutter member 20 provided with a plurality of second slit holes 20A with pitches same as the first slit holes 19A, is disposed at its upper part, and the air flow channel 9 to the deodorizing filter 12 can be opened and closed by the shutter mechanism 18.
