PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat rice cake cutting tool that solves a problem of cutting of a flat rice cake with a kitchen knife at home, wherein the rice cake cannot be cut without difficulties due to sticking of the rice cake to the kitchen knife, a dried rice cake is hard and cannot be cut by a homemaker and, even in the case of cutting by a man, can be cut in a dangerous difficult work, that is, only when the man wears gloves or uses a pad and cuts the rice cake while putting his weight on his both hands. SOLUTION: The flat rice cake cutting tool has a square flat plate 2 on which a flat rice cake 1 is mounted. A pushing body 11 having a narrow-width rectangular shape is provided on the square flat plate 2. The pushing body 11 has a rice cake abutted face part 4, which abuts at right angle to the square flat plate 2 on its front side face 3 where a person who uses the tool stands. The pushing body 11 has a length that extends from one side to the other side of the square flat plate 2. The right side of the pushing body 11 serves as a wire rod guide face 8. One end of a tough cutting wire rod 5, which is somewhat longer than the length of the pushing body 11 and is flexible, is fixed to a wire rod fastening part 6 in the rice cake abutted face part 4. A wire rod pull-tab 7 is provided on the other end of the cutting wire rod 5. The cutting wire rod 5 is extended from the backside of the flat rice cake 1 upward, is folded back and is pulled to successively cut the flat rice cake 1 at an equal width.
