PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition time control device capable of obtaining the stable engine output torque by properly correcting an advance angle of the ignition time immediately after starting an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: The initial correction quantity IGTWAST is computed in response to the cooling water temperature TWINI in a point in time when starting an engine (S22), and a starting correction factor KIGTWAST is computed in response to the engine stop time CENGSTP and the number of ignition after starting CTACR (S23-S25). The advance angle correction quantity after starting IGTWASTF is computed by multiplying the initial correction quantity IGTWAST by the starting correction factor KIGTWAST (S26). The advance angle correction quantity after starting IGTWASTF in a point in time when concluding starting is set so as to be increased as the engine stop time CENGSTP is prolonged. The advance angle correction quantity after starting IGTWASTF is used to correct the basic ignition time IGMAP with other advance angle correction quantity. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
