PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system capable of further narrowing an endoscope insertion section, miniaturizing its minimum bending radius and reducing problems such as damage of an optical fiber and subsequent time-lapse lowering of light output. SOLUTION: This endoscope system is provided with one or a plurality of semiconductor light sources provided in an endoscope body or a treatment device, a plurality rows of optical fibers that are retained to one or a plurality of contents inserted into the endoscope body, in two or more different forms and guide light beams from the semiconductor light sources, and one or a plurality of wavelength conversion parts that are arranged inside a distal end of the endoscope-body insertion section to be inserted into an observation object and convert a part or all of the light beams from the semiconductor light source guided by the optical fiber into light beam having a prescribed wavelength by a phosphor.
