CIPHER COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT AND ITS SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To suitably charge a user executing cipher communication. CONSTITUTION: Each of an information presenting side terminal 20 and a user side communication terminal 20 is provided with a ciphering device 21 having a respectively different cipher system and a cipher speed setting device 23 for selecting the cipher processing speed of the device 21. An amount corresponding to a cipher processing speed selected by a charging means included in an information preseting center is charged to a user. Consequently a cipher system can be selected in accordance with the cipher intensity corresponding to the cipher processing speed or the sort of information for ciphering a transmission speed and charging corresponding to the selected cipher system can be properly executed.
