<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instantaneously change over a first mode in which light is emitted in the first direction to a second mode in which light is emitted in the second direction different from the first direction. <P>SOLUTION: A light source 2 is arranged on the upper side of a light source 1; a reflector 3 is arranged on the front side of the light sources 1 and 2; a reflector 4 is arranged on the upper side of the light sources 1 and 2 and the reflector 3; an elliptical reflecting surface 3a reflecting light from the light source 1 is formed on the reflector 3; reflecting surfaces 4a1 and 4a2 reflecting light from the elliptical reflecting surface 3a to illuminate the front side of this lighting apparatus is formed on the reflector 4; a hyperbolic reflecting surface 3b reflecting light from the light source 2 is formed on the reflector 3; reflecting surfaces 4b1 and 4b2 reflecting light from the elliptical reflecting surface 3b to illuminate the front lower side of the lighting apparatus are formed on the reflector 4; in changing over the first mode to the second mode, the light source 1 is changed over from lighting to extinction, and the light source 2 is changed over from extinction to lighting; and, in changing over the second mode to the first mode, the light source 1 is changed over from extinction to lighting, and the light source 2 is changed over from lighting to extinction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
