<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a complex system that has a rack whose height is adjustable and that can change the disposition of a control unit at 90°. <P>SOLUTION: The complex system includes a scanner unit for reading a document, a printer unit for printing image information, read by the scanner unit, onto a recording medium, the control unit for controlling the scanner unit and the printer unit, and the rack whose height can be adjusted.
