<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object distance measuring device capable of precisely calculating a distance to a detected object and its program. <P>SOLUTION: A light projection pattern detection part 22 detects a light projection pattern 34 on an image; a pedestrian detection part 20 detects a pedestrian on the image; a projector control part 24 calculates a position coordinate of the pedestrian 32 on the image and a light projection position coordinate of the light projection pattern 34 on the image, calculates a light projection angle of a projector 14 to make the departure of the two points no larger than a predetermined value, and controls the projector 14 to project at the calculated projection angle; and the distance to the pedestrian 32 is calculated based on the distance between an imaging device 12 and the projector 14, X coordinate of the projection position, and the horizontal projection angle of the projector 14 when the departure of the two points comes to no larger than the predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
