<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device suitable for handling a loading object along a track, using a pair of movable elements moving along the track and one linear actuator shorter than the distance to move the loading object. <P>SOLUTION: The device has: a guide track 2; a pair of slides 10a, 10b slidably mounted on the guide track 2; engagement means 7a, 7b disposed on the slides for engaging loading objects; locking means 6a, 6b to keep their respective slides in position along the guide track 2; and a linear actuator means 3 for driving the slides. A first component 4 as a pneumatic cylinder constituting the linear actuator drives one slide 10a, and a second component 5a as a piston drives the other slide 10b. By controlling the linear actuator means 3 and the locking means 6a, 6b, the device moves the engagement means 7a, 7b to optional positions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
