<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus, enabling a user to easily know a specification change of an option device, an information processing system, a computer program, and a recording medium recording the computer program. <P>SOLUTION: In the information processing apparatus which performs data communication with an image forming apparatus to which a plurality of option devices are additionally installed through a network, a CPU information acquisition function acquires device data for the specifications of the option devices from the image forming apparatus, a CPU determination function determines whether an option device changed in specification is present or not, and a CPU display processing function causes, when the option device changed in specification is determined by the determination function, a display device for displaying outer shape images of the image forming apparatus and the option device to pulsate and display the outer shape of this option device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
