PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens having a small outside diameter. SOLUTION: The zoom lens 15 is constituted of a first lens group 21 and a relay lens 22 in order from an object side. The first lens group 21 is a lens having positive refractive power, which reflects subject light by a prism 27 and guides it toward an imaging device 16, and which forms a primary image smaller than the imaging device 16 more on the object side from the relay lens 22. The relay lens 22 is a lens which forms the primary image on the imaging surface of the imaging device 16 again, and is constituted of an R1 group 31 having positive refractive power, an R2 group 32 having positive refractive power, and an R3 group 33 having negative refractive power in order from the object side.
