PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vaporizing type oil burning appliance capable of properly supplying primary combustion air and secondary combustion air to a burner. SOLUTION: In this vaporizing type oil burning appliance comprising a box-type vaporizer 1 comprising a heater 2 for vaporization, and having a mixed gas outflow opening 7 at its lower portion, a lid body 5 closing the vaporizer 1 includes a fuel injection nozzle 3 for spraying fuel, and a venturi portion 4 for supplying combustion air, a box-type secondary air chamber 24 is disposed at a back side of the vaporizer 1, straight secondary air holes 25 are formed at lower portions of both side walls of the burner 22, furthermore, a cover body 15 is disposed to cover the vaporizer 1, the cover body 15 has a primary air hole 16 communicating with the venturi portion 4, and a secondary air hole 18 communicating with the secondary air chamber 24, and furthermore, an air guide means 19 covering the primary air hole 16 and the secondary air hole 18, and guiding the combustion air, and a secondary air guide plate 21 are disposed, whereby favorable combustion can be performed.
