<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably remove carbon monoxide in a selective oxidation reactor with relatively simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 1 includes a reformer 4 reforming fuel and water into hydrogen; an inlet port 44 taking in a product in the reformer 4; a passage 45 communicating with the inlet port 44; a catalyst 50 arranged in the passage 45; the selective oxidation reactor 8 having a plurality of outlet ports 45-49 communicating with the passage 45 in positions having different distances to the inlet port 44; a fuel cell 20 having an anode 22, a cathode 23, and an electrolyte membrane 21 arranged between them; and a selecting device 10 selecting any of the plurality of outlet ports 45-49 and making it communicate with the anode 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
