PURPOSE:To enhance the electric-discharge utilization rate of the electrode, and facilitate assembly of a nonaqueous solvent battery by favorably connecting a negative lead terminal to a negative current-collecting body without performing spot welding, and filling spaces and the like formed around the negative lead terminal with a sufficient amount of electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:After a first positive electrode 131, a first separator 141, a negative electrode 16 to the upper surface of which a current-collecting body 15 is affixed by pressure, a second separator 142 and a second positive electrode 132 in that order are installed in an outer case 11, a lid body 18 in the center of which a negative lead terminal 21 is inserted through an insulating sealing member 19 is placed over the outer can 11 in such a manner that the negative lead terminal 21 passes through the holes of the contents and penetrates the small hole 17 of the current-collecting body 15. Following that, the outer peripheral part of the lid body 18 and the inner surface of the opening end of the outer can 11 are sealed by performing laser welding or the like thereby assembling a battery. In the assembly process, electrolyte is poured on each separator 141 or 142 when it is installed, and electrolyte is filled in the spaces and the like formed between the contents and the outer case 11 after the second positive electrode 132 is installed. |
