PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make visually inconspicuous scratches on tableware, vessels or the like caused not only when they have a point contact but also when they have a surface contact or line contact, and to improve cleaning performance for contaminants adhered onto the surface thereof. SOLUTION: In the surface protective structure for protecting the surface of a sink 1 for system kitchen, an emboss pattern 41 is formed only on a smooth bottom surface of the sink 1 by a plurality of semi-spherical projected parts 25 projectively formed thereon, and each projected part 25 is brought into point contact with a contact object. The apex height of the projected part 25 to the smooth surface is 0.05-0.15 mm, and the interval between the mutually adjacent projected parts 25 at least in one direction (horizontal flat part length Lx or vertical flat part length Ly) is 2.0-3.0 mm.
