Rootstock '9407-14' is a cross of L6-1 (Vitis champinii 'Ramsey'xV. riparia 'Riparia Gloire')xV. champinii c9021. This invention relates to a new and distinct variety of grape rootstock with resistance to a broad array of soil-borne nematodes including root-knot, dagger, lesion and citrus nematodes. The variety has moderate resistance to ring nematode, and resists grape phylloxera, although it supports phylloxera on root tips it does not allow feeding on the storage.
