<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase synchronization circuit that can be configured in a small area by eliminating quantization noise and phase noise of an oscillator in a broadband. <P>SOLUTION: The phase synchronization circuit includes: the controlled oscillator 101 for generating first and second oscillation signals respectively having a common frequency to be controlled and mutually different phases by a combination of a first control signal and a second control signal; a digital phase frequency detector for generating a first detection signal corresponding to frequency difference and phase difference between a reference signal and the first oscillation signal; a digital filter 112 for eliminating a high frequency component of the first detection signal to generating the first control signal; an analog phase detector for generating a second detection signal corresponding to a phase difference between the second oscillation signal and the reference signal; an analog filter for eliminating a high frequency component of the second detection signal to output the second control signal; and a synchronization detecting part for detecting synchronization between the reference signal and the first oscillation signal to make the analog phase detector and analog filter 122 active. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
