PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion type linear actuator by which a cylinder combustion gas is not cooled before pressure by cylinder combustion strokes a piston in the case of actuating a heavy load. SOLUTION: In the cylinder combustion type linear actuator which includes a cylinder 1, the piston 2 with a connecting rod containing a rachet and a spring, it accumulates displacements (strokes) of the piston caused by the cylinder combustion on the spring as dynamical energy and utilizes the energy at a required time.
