A device (700) and a method for manual triggering of a danger alarm are described. The device (700) comprises a chassis (706) and a switching element (710) disposed inside the chassis (706). The switching element (710) is a one-piece element. The switching element (710) is designed such that it can be transitioned from a first spatial state to a second spatial state by way of a triggering motion. In the process, the first spatial state is indicative for no danger alarm having been triggered by the device (700), and the second spatial state is indicative for a danger alarm having already been triggered by the device (700). The device (700) can also comprise an optical display device (760, 766) for displaying the information as to whether a danger alarm had been triggered. In the process, the optical display device can comprise a transparent and structured alarm display element (760) which can be brought into mechanical engagement with an optical indicator element (766) depending on the spatial state of the switching element (710) so that the optical appearance of the alarm display element (760) changes for an operating person. |
