FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device for glass strengthening. Formed glass products are submerged into salt melt bath, containing potassium ions, for 10 seconds or less. Glass product surface temperature during submergence stage equals at least temperature of glass fritting.
