An electrophoretic display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve product reliability of the product and suppress the leak current between pixels. A device substrate comprises a pixel electrode(21). An opposed substrate comprises a common electrode(22). An electrophoresis layer(23) is formed by being fixed between both sides substrates. An adhesive layer is formed by conductive adhesive between pixel electrode and electrophoresis layer. A binder layer is formed between the common electrode and electrophoresis layer.
