<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED illuminator for television camera capable of reducing the circuit and simplifying the configuration system. <P>SOLUTION: The illuminator 1 comprises a plurality of LED groups 3a, 3b-3h being driven through drive circuits 2a, 2b ... 2h provided for respective groups to emit light in units of group, an oscillation circuit 4 outputting a clock pulse at a predetermined frequency, a counter circuit 5 outputting a plurality of address signals sequentially to circulate periodically upon receiving the clock pulse, a decoder circuit 6 provided with a decoder outputting sequential selection signals upon receiving each address signal, a pulse modulation circuit 7 outputting a pulse modulation signal synchronized with the clock pulse, gate circuits 8a, 8b ... 8h outputting control signals performing drive control of the drive circuits 2a, 2b ... 2h with the pulse width of the pulse modulation signal upon receiving the pulse modulation signal and the sequential selection signal in AND state, and a power supply circuit 9 for each LED group and each circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
