The method involves defining a measurement period corresponding to an interval of revolution speed of a rotary shaft during a renewable activity at low operating speed of an engine. An acceleration vibratory signal of engine components is acquired on the period. The signal is sampled and transformed into a frequency signal to obtain frequency spectral lines. Average of amplitudes of the lines is calculated, and amplitude peaks are determined. A ratio between each peak and an amplitude level is calculated. The ratio is compared with a predetermined damaging threshold. |
