The method involves demodulating and reconstructing binary data of one of received superimposed signals from a composite incident signal. An adaptive type filtering is performed on the reconstructed signal so that the shape of the reconstructed signal is similar to that of the received signal. The filtered signal is subtracted from the composite incident signal to obtain a signal representing the other superimposed signal. The latter superimposed signal is demodulated using the signal representing the latter superimposed signal. An independent claim is also included for a processing device for processing superimposed signals from a composite incident signal.
