The invention concerns a sintered refractory product having the following average chemical composition, in weight percentages based on oxides: 20%<Al2O3<90%; 6%=SiO2<30%; 3%<ZrO2<50%; 0%=Cr2O3<50%. The inventive product is characterized in that it comprises 17 to 85 wt. % of mullite-zirconium grains.
