The invention concerns a proxy, a system and a method for searching a server in a telecommunication network comprising:
- receiving at a proxy server (12) a request message (15) from a subscriber device (5), the request message (15) requesting a service,
-the proxy server (12) contacting a server (8, 9, 10) with a server location close to the subscriber device location,
-the server (8 9 10) with a server location close to the subscriber device location searching (20, 21, 22) a server with resources to provide the service,
-the server (8, 9, 10) with resources to provide the service informing (23) the proxy server (12) that the search was successful and
-the server (8, 9, 10) with resources to provide the service sending a connection requesting message (23) to the subscriber device (5).
