A circuit breaker is provided to prevent an electric shock accident by preventing a contact between a hand of operator and a conductive bar. A pair of wire connection terminals(11,13B) is formed in one end of a main body. Insertion grooves(209a,209b) are formed in the other end of the main body. A conductive bar is inserted to the insertion groove. The conductive bar is connected to blade receiving springs(T1,T2). A contact part includes a fixed contact and a movable contact. The fixed contact and the movable contact are arranged in a current path between the blade receiving springs. A control part(6a) of a handle(6) is exposed through a window hole(50) of the main body. The window hole is formed on an opposite surface of an attaching surface of the main body. The blade receiving spring is arranged to the attaching surface side.
