<p>The seat has base and backrest parts respectively comprising lateral projecting edges. Each edge has a support surface movable with respect to one of base and backrest frames (8, 10) between different positions to clasp or release a user from the seat. A safety device (120) has an inertial unit (122) to measure an acceleration value of a motor vehicle. A processing unit (124) of the device has a computer module (126) to control triggering of pyrotechnic actuators, when the acceleration value is greater than or equal to a preset value, where the actuators are triggered to lock the surfaces.</p> |
