PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition containing essentially no zinc dialkyldithiophosphate anti-abrasion agent. SOLUTION: The lubricant composition found is constituted by containing: a large amount of a base oil; and a lead corrosion-inhibiting amount of a reaction product of a hydrocarbyl carbonyl compound with an amine compound selected from guanidine, urea, and thiourea, with the proviso that the lubricant essentially contains neither zinc dialkyldithiophosphate anti-abrasion agents nor chlorinated paraffins nor calcium Mannich phenates.
